Ross Lovatt
Ross is a senior director and a member of our strategic board. He has overall responsibility for driving business growth and the delivery of our multidiscipline services.
Ross has over 20 years’ experience as a chartered surveyor and, within the practice, he has delivered construction projects worth in excess of £1bn.
He studied at Heriot-Watt University, where he gained an honours degree in building economics and quantity surveying. After completing his RICS chartership within private practice, he joined Thomson Gray in 2009.
Ross is responsible for departmental management and oversees strategic priorities for the business including regional and national sector growth. His strength is communication and, in his role, he is client-focused to ensure that projects are properly resourced to the highest standard.
Ross has active involvement in projects and is currently supporting various private sector clients within commercial real estate and residential sectors. He supports numerous public sector clients in the role as framework manager – where he has successfully managed the concurrent delivery of multiple projects, on budget, within higher education, healthcare and working with local authorities.
