Amy Robertson
Amy is a senior associate and a key member of our leadership team. She has over 14 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor and extensive expertise in managing costs on a variety of complex and challenging projects across various areas, with a focus on the public sector.
Amy studied at Heriot-Watt University, where she graduated with an honours degree in quantity surveying. She joined Thomson Gray in 2010 and completed her RICS chartership in 2013.
Her public sector work has an emphasis on healthcare, judicial, custodial and education projects. Amy has worked closely with a number of health boards across Scotland, various universities and as framework manager for the Scottish Prison Service, utilising both SBCC and NEC forms of contract.
She has delivered a number of high profile and one-off projects for the private sector including the Donaldson’s Crescent project for CALA, a number of bespoke domestic house projects and specialist projects for the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland. Amy is very dynamic and has extensive knowledge and experience of both public and private procurement projects.
Amy is experienced using software to support our clients with environmental modelling and produce embodied carbon life cycle assessments (LCA’s).
